Question Calling all 26" out there......

Hey guys,

Well I am going to order my 26" today but have a few questions, I hear that not all but some 26" leak air? my 23" NEVER leaked!!!! can you elaborate? do you have to air up every day? every 3? once a month? etc etc.

Also who has the wheel balanced with the Beads? how you like it? can you hear the beads?

thanks guys

I never had a problem with my 21, I just want to avoid any issues and Nitrogen seemed to be the fix all. Good Luck!

no leaks on my 26" in 11,500 miles this year. I used dyna beads as i do with all my tire swaps.

you can hear the beads if its on the lift and you spin the wheel, but not when riding.

from what i understand its a sh*tty molding job causing slow leaks in some of the vee rubber 26" tires. im told the 30" tires are still hand made.

ya my brackets come today, so i can start modify the inner fairing bracket this weekend to compensate for the rake. still haven't picked out bars yet, either ballistics or sinisters, even though i love my monkeys, i think i want something diff.

hows your build going?

going good.... installed the BadDad shaved bags last weekend, have the progressive monotubes, Yafee cow bells, tricky air trees in the garage just waiting for the AS legs... then will tear down the front end and weld the rake kit

the first Prototype of my Floor Boards is finished, making a few changes then will make the final set.
