Default Nope....

Nothing and no modifications what so ever have been done to it by me. Nor was I told I would need to by them. I never even disconnected the plug until now since it was originally installed. I had the tech put the bulb grease on when he installed it initally to lock out water and moisture as to prevent corrosion. Even the seat is the original that came with the bike, HD stock. Where and how it was installed was done only by Vance And Hines.

I have a 09 RG and ive run the fuelpak since new. I have 20k on the clock without ever having an issue. I also had it on a 06 superglide that i crashed with about 18k on it and again never a problem. I will use the fuelpak again in the future.

same thing happened to mine. dealer installed under right side cover and in 6 months had become dislodged and cracked. water then got in and it burned up. Luckily I have a great dealer Highland HD in Somerset.PA. They replaced at no charge because they guarantee their work. When they installed new Fuelpak they also used cable ties to secure, no problems but time will tell.
