Default Brake recall question

Im scheduled to go in on friday to have my brake recall taken care of and have read on here about the mushy brake issue after this recall being taken care of. My question has anyone been able to get it fixed correctly or atleast been able to get everything taken care of. Fixing the mushy brake issue or brake fluid leaking after having the switch fixed?

If so is there something I need to point out to my dealership?

Just make sure/confirm that they bleed the brakes and use the digital tech

I had two of mine in (with anti lock brakes) this past Saturday........both came out just as they went in (meaning same brake feel).....except they were a lot cleaner!!
the new switch
both washed
1 hours time for each

Dealer did the recall on mine and it was done correctly. Dont kick all the dealers because of a few complaints on here.

Not meaning to kick dealers just want to ensure everything goes right. The dealership I use is an hour away from my house even though I have one less then five minutes away because they are the ones I trust. Just wasnt sure if fixing one problem was leading to another one....

My recall went fine as well. There's nothing wrong with questioning the service writer when you drop the bike off to be sure they're following the correct protocols. Quality maintenance organizations don't mind answering questions from informed customers.

I had the brake recall done a few weeks ago and everything went great, no problem before I took the bike in and no problems after.

I was quite happy with how things went.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but I have a question for everybody getting the recall, how are you notified? If it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't even know about it.

Thanks for asking, when I got to the bottom of this thread I had the same question. I never got anything in the mail.

I had to have them re-bleed it after mine was done.
