My Andrews 21's kick in at about 1700 RPM. Great for 2 up. Gives you a little extra hp and pull. Don't expect a hot rod, just a little more pulling power. You can feel them kick right in, and they run out as far as I want to push her. Most threads here say that they die at around 4800 RPM. I don't ride my bike that hard, so all is good. The 26's would be better for a future upgrade in cubic inches. The difference in the 88 is minimal. They just come on a bit later (2000 RPM) and hang on a bit longer (5200 RPM). If you are a more aggressive rider and plan on a future upgrade, go with the 26's.

I have an 08 dyna with a 96. I am going with se255s. I can re-use the stock pushrods if I go in from the top. Every dyno sheet I have seen in a stock bike these cams turn on at about 1800 rpm and start falling off at 5200 rpm, right at the rev limiter. The 255s are a true bolt in and can be bought for 100 bucks on eBay. I bought mine for 100 plus shipping from a forum member. Since I am going in from the top I thought I might bump the compression by using a 0.030 cometic gasket. Not sure if that would work in your application. Perhaps a more experienced member can comment on that idea

Call Jamie with Fuelmoto about a Woods cam, or Call Bob himself and ask him
They will ask you more questions, what kind of riding do you do, Solo rider or two up,
What are you lookin for the bike to do.

Why pick a EPA Cam ? HD cams are EPA cams.

Am I reading that right? 32-33tq at 2250? I have SE203s. I have 60@2250 and 80@2500. I'm pretty pleased with the 203s. Runs pretty good for an 88ci.

Thanks Boogaloo i need a bigger screen. I figured out how to enlarge it. Thats a nice tq line. It carries out farther than my 203s. But i'm lookin at my chart before the Rinehart TDs. It def runs better now.

All true and a great idea for '07 and above, but 255's won't fit in an older 88/95" motor.

Another option for the OP is go with the hydraulic-tensioner upgrade and an Andrews 48 conversion cam. It has characteristics similar to 255's and would be a good fit in a low-compression (8.7:1) stock motor. Go big-bore (95") and the higher compression will open-up more cam options. I think most anything except the Andrews 21 or 48 in a stock 88 would cause a decrease in low-end torque, if that's a priority.
