Harly's and FF helmets are like oil and water...
Wow, stepped in a big pile with this one.....I've heard the argument that I'd rather die in a MC accident without a helmet, than be crippled by wearing a helmet....you've never heard the sound of your helmet hitting the ground and thank your lucky stars you had a skid lid on.
Look at Ron750s diagram and notice the percentages in the facial area. I wear a FF because I've seen first hand how they can help, I could care less if I'm riding a Harley or a Honda, though if for a Honda I'd be trying to hide, lol. Seriously, when it comes to being safe or being cool, I'll pick safe.
More protection in a accident is always better. With that riding is a risk and we all have different comfort levels of risk. I wear a modular in the winter and trying get used to it in summer. Still like my little bucket in summer. Truth is I prefer no helmet but not an option here anymore.
For those using a modular they are not all the same. Some or most are not DOT approved unless they are closed in full face protection mode. Just something else to think about.
Ride on - keep the rubber side down and enjoy the trip.

I always wear a FF helmet, and one probably saved my life in a 2002 highway crash, but I will admit that a nostalgic half helmet looks pretty damn cool.
HOWEVER ...
I've never been out riding, and have some cager shout, "Hey, nice helmet!"
And, I've never been parked, and have some stranger walk up and say, "Hey, nice helmet."
It's always, "nice bike."
It's all about the bike.
Not you.
Get over your vain self if you're worried about wearing a FF or a half helmet or a Chihuahua on your noggin.
"They" are looking at your bike. Not your helmet, or your ugly mug which a FF would help to cover up better anyway, and maybe save your life.
Ride safe all,
Murph
