I have researched them also and the best were linked earlier from amazon (Tire Guard, check their web site). The stem mounted system screws on then locks down with small allen screws that secure and helps with theft. Replacable watch batteries in the sensors and a rechargable in the main is a plus. Battery saver that puts it in sleep mode when not rolling is good. You could probably even remove them to use on trailer tires if you wanted to. Those mounted inside the tire might be a hassel. They claim to be very light so balance may not be an issue. Even does temp too. I have TPMS on all my other vehicles, really helps me maintain proper PSI and alerts to problems before danger, some have alarm settings too.

Placed my order yesterday after reading the reviews and checking out their website...Amazon has the cheapest pricing.

The stock sensors on my 2002 Vette only turn on by centrifugal force of the rotating tire ... and therefore the batteries last over 10 years for my just weekend convertible. (Same as my former 2008 Kawasaki 1400 Concours)
not sure if the aftermarket ones for bikes have that feature
Anyone Know ?

Yes, the Tire Guard brand have that feature, and they call it "sleep mode". My vehicles TPMS don't have that feature, will display cold readings before you move, and claim 5 year battery life. Like someone said, amazed at PSI diffs between cold and hot. In cold weather, if I don't keep my PSI up, I get an e-mail via Onstar from my Cadillac to add air - Man Please!

Tire Guard Has Worked Well For Me
Just another fan of the "Tire Guard" brand remote tire air pressure/temp. indicators.....
Advice...switch to the 90 degree bend, metal valve stems. They make using this product really nice.
I have used them for a couple of years. Learned a great deal about tire pressure, temperature, in various conditions reading the values live via the little monitor.
Try-um you'll like-um...

Ive been installing these TireGard's for a few months now on Harleys. My suggestion is to never never run them on rubber valve stems. Always install on metal valve stems, and if you have rubber then have the short metal valve stems installed first. The system seems to work very well, have had no complains from customers yet, except for the moniter not being water proof.
