I agree - I think with any new bike ride it for a while first and find out what you like and don't like and go from there.

get you a thunderheader, air cleaner and sert pro before it leaves the dealership all the naysayers say it voids the warranty, my question is was it not a factory authorized dealership that performed the modifications? not starting an argument i`ve just always wondered how they can argue this.

Don't jump into anything. Just ride it for a while.

100% agree with Top. If you must spend on the bike I recommend Harley Split
Vision Mirrors, the brake light module, just safety items til you get some miles on teh bike and see if there are any warranty bugs.

I have learned over time to leave the thing alone awhile .
Unless there is just something I need to change so I can ride it.
after 10-15K I have a much better Idea what I might need or want to change.
Any other mods are just because I like it that way.

Do what ever you would like to do, it's your bike.
Nothin' wrong w/a stage 1 out the door at all either, or DIYS either.

Head pipe with the cats in it should go straight in the trash can.

Ride it and see what you like and what you may want to change/modify. Hell you might want to spend your cash on comfort upgrades or appearance changes, before performance upgrades. See a lot of threads on here for audio upgrades, seats, windshields, and the like.

Food for thought,

I think we got a lot of riders who just emptied their wallets on Christmas!

Stock is boring... Be different and make your bike AWESOME!

Start with new headers, slip-ons, and a Stage 1!
