Default inner primary bearing

My 07 Road King inner primary bearing failed at 50,000 Km. (about 30,000 mi. ) With the clutch lever out, in neutral, fully warmed up it made a slight whirring sound. 3 of the rolling elements had lost their case hardening. Inner race was undamaged.

Good job! Pretty much how I did my first one. All outside with brute force and ignorance.

Here's Napa's #'s: bearing #6205-2zj Seal#: 25x52x7tc

As for the noise its like shaking a can of small ball bearings in oil. I described it in the thread you referenced.
That NAPA seal part number s not correct, does anybody know the correct number for the seal?

Sorry. Thats the way I got it from Napa. Those #'s are the metric dimensions. Google the seal# and you will find it. HD will not have it because they do not use a one piece bearing.

There is no bar code or I would. Try asking for the seal by dimension. I.E. 25mm x52mm x7mm and fully rubber coated. If your Napa is like mine there are only 2 guys that know what the hell they are doing the rest must have come form Mc Donald's. Maybe ask for someone more knowledgeable.

There is a part # for the seal in this thread. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/prima...y-bearing.html

"That seal is a TTO E2142 (DC-25-52) twin-lip/twin-spring elastomer-in-metal-frame seal. I don't know of any place you could buy that seal in other than large (shop) lots. Probably the best way to get it is to simply purchase a new All ***** or Baker High Torque bearing upgrade that will include the seal. I paid only $18 for my All ***** bearing+seal+retaining clip set. The seal alone would probably cost that much."
