Default Wheel bearing advice

I'm doing a chrome exchange on my wheels, gotta pull the 2011 EG bearings before shipping. Read a couple of post with the one inch bearing being junk. Need recommendations for new bearings, do not want to put Harley's back on if they are junk.
Thanx for your help.

I read in another thread that a one inch axle (which measures 25.4 MM) will fit the hub and of course allow you to use the older style 1" bearings. I wish someone would post a part number for the axle and a part number for the old style thicker bearing. Thanks
