I use the 11" Stealth with a Tallboy seat and it's hands down better than the stock 10". (I'll 6'2") I only turn the radio half way on the freeway now where I had to go all the way up w/ stock. I use a 4" in the summer to get more wind.
I messaged LRS before ordering and they steered me in the right direction, if you're unsure about height, give them a call.

That's my main shield. In the heat of the summer, I like to run a 4" tinted shield, which allows a lot of wind to hit my face and chest. I've also got a stock 12" clear windshield, and I'd be running that one right now, if I didn't have my bike torn down for upgrades.

At 6'1", I was looking right at the top of the windshield of my FLHTP in most of my highway riding. I knew I didn't want to look through the windshield because of poor vision when it is raining. I ended up with an aftermarket Dakota windshield that is 1" shorter than stock and is also wider than stock. Problem solved. I now look over the top edge of the windshield without having air blasting my helmet, plus its wider so my hands and arms get less buffeting. Saturday I did a 2 hour ride in 40F weather and enjoyed every minute of it.

Just bought a 7" Fastaire Aero. I love this shield.

It's on the bike in the sig pic.

I'm 6' sit really straight up and can look over a stock 12" shield.

I am really liking the Fast Aire ~ 10" Areo http://www.fastaire.com/Aero.html
It seems to be a little straighter on the sides than the Clearview (I had for 3 years) which makes it wider near the top. This helps a lot.

The best way is to measure yourself on your bike.
Seats and how you sit on your bike make a huge difference.

Measure your eye level from the top of your fairing, then subtract 3" and buy anybody's windshield with the flip on top.

12'' flattop from long ride shields works good for me at 6'4'' and works best for my woman behind me. She claims she gets much less buffering with the flattop than before.

just wanted to ask, does anyone run a clearview without the recurve in it? If so how do you like it?

I'm 5'10" and have a 10" Fast Aire Recurve on a Woodys Fairing on my 06 RK Police. I also have a stock Road Glide seat.I can look over or through the windshield. The old lady loves the protection the fairing gives over the stock windshield.
