Another vote for the Bad Boy Wolo. You can get it at Harbor Freight.

Just to mention, I put a Nautilis Stebil on my bike and pretty happy with it so far.

I am also looking at getting a louder horn. Not sure what to get so I am hoping to get ideas from this thread.

Mini Beasts are just Stebel horns in a pretty cover...

I love my Stebel, had one on my last bike too.

Just make sure you install the 30 amp relay when you install it. Stebel horns draw too many amps for stock horn wiring...

I had to find an alternate installation location because I also have a LeNale fan...

If you want LOUD check out Howards Horns. I have the Dynamic Duo and could not be happier. The seperate compressor that fits under the old cowbell really puts some power in these horns. But you have to like the trumpet look.

Very loud and great in traffic. Saved my butt a few times already from drifting cell phone using cagers.

I'm sure a better horn makes sense, but probably wouldn't make a difference to me since the few times I use it I end up hitting the left directional!

Wolo and Steibel are virtually the same and are usually the components in custom horns set-ups that don't include trumpets. If you're not hung up on a particular look go for the Wolo or Steibel which can cost as little as $35.00. Every one of the air horns discussed here put out the same volume so that's a given. Pick what your taste and budget will allow and use the relay. It's real simple to install and Howard's web site has great info on wiring a relay and why you need one.

I had the original mini beast on my former ride and it was great.
Now I'm kinda looking for a horn that will fit inside the bell shaped cover that I have.
Do any of the forementioned horns(wolo, steubel, etc.) fit inside the HD covers I wonder?
