I have 08 Street Glide im looking at 3.5 rinehart slipons is the 4s better or worse and with the slip ons do you have to retune and change breather on the bike(Ive heard yes and no from dealers so im confussed) . I am 1/2 way mechanically inclined and can add slip ons myself but if needing dealer enhancement I may be better off letting them do it all Thanks

 

Go 4 " they sound better to me have had both go to ebay you can get them for $520 shipped when you are ready for a tuner call fuel moto they will send you a pc programmed all yoy have to do is install very easy

 

4" are definitely better. Sound is deeper, better rumble. Performance wise I can't comment because I've only had the 4" on mine SG, but I've been pleased with them so far. As far as a tuner, you'll really only need one if you do both the A/C and the exhaust. If you've got the cash, get the A/C and tuner as well. You won't be disappointed.

 

No tune needed with just slipon change.

 

Buy can of high temp paint and get to know someone who does chroming.
