Default Road Glide - 10" Monkey Bars with 12" Winvest?

Are any of you Road Glide owners running 10" Paul Yaffe Monkey Bars with a 12" Windvest? I'm wanting to know if the bars will hit the windshield if turned all the way to the right or left?

Sweet.....then I'm sold. I'm definately keeping my shield, but really wanted to go with the 10" Monkey Bars. They look great and will bring my hands up 2"-3". They also appear to be thick enough to accomodate some Heat Demons.

I've got 12" bars and had to change my Clearview for a WV so they wouldnt hit. Miss my CV but you will have no worries with the WV.

By the way, be prepared to experience every emotion from here to there if you plan on pulling the wires with heat demons. Installing my monkey bars was the absolute worst job I've ever tackled on a cycle. It can be done, I just want to encourage you to be extremely patient. I would also recommend going to Church to pardon all the sin you'll commit.
Best of luck!

Wow....if its gonna be that much heart ache, I may just pay for the install. Swapping out my factory head pipes for True Duals last Spring was bad enough.

Thanks for the pics. It looks great with those bars. The 10" Monkey Bars really do look like 12" bars.

The wire pull is cruel and unusual. You might want to do some searches and read a few tips from the experience of others.
You could also try here, lots of ugly RG information, http://www.roadglide.org/

I have 10" monkey bars and a 12" windvest on my 07 RG. With the bars pulled back they cleared just fine. I like to ride a little more stretched out so to clear the bars with them kicked forward I trimmed down the sides of the screen. Worked out great.
