Just updating information on my new Cool Masters installed before "Run For The Wall". They worked as advertised, and then some. Try fueling 300 bikes in 30 minutes or less, after running @ 70 mph with oil temperatures @ 230*. I would turn on the Cool Masters just before entering the offramp to the fueling station with my head temperatures running @ 270*, and the head temperatures would drop or stay the same while sitting at idle on my bike for quite a few minutes waiting for my turn to fuel my bike. Also, I forgot to turn them off a couple of times and they ran for a couple of hours a few times without any notice of issues. They still run and sound like I first installed them, after the RFTW. Also, the complaint about them cooking your right leg is a true statement IF you leave your leg in the normal position as your idling in neutral, however I would just offset my leg to the rear and all was good. They are worth every penny I spent on them and glad I installed them before the RFTW. I can't count on one hand, the many times I heard over the CB that the bikes are starting to overheat, while idling in the staging formation, until the police escort was ready and in place to escort us.

With Harley spending countless hours in research & development in selecting the proper spark plug based on compression heat range & combustion temperatures. Has anyone take notice that their plugs are fouling when using jug cooling fans?

Good read link below stating that maintaining correct combustion chamber temperatures is essential.

None of these external fans will effect combustion temperatures leading to plug fouling. Driving in the fall doesn't foul plugs with ambient temps in the 32F range so neither will a fan in 90F temps.

It's interesting to see the well intentioned theories that come through. Recently many have focused on oil temps. We will shortly publish an important announcement about Love Jugs and oil cooling. I believe you will find this very helpful. WATCH THIS SPACE. - Steve

I believe this was the announcement he was referring to, Amsoil tested and documented their results.

Default Too hot to ride

Well Ive got the first model of coolmaster, classic ones two years ago and no doubt it cool down the engine but the hot aire flow going to my right leg
was toomuch I had to switch them off
here in Madrid in sommertime its very hot but believe me I couldnt go on riding my softail
Ive been in so many rallys and never saw any harley
with that sistem I now understand why
so when I heard people saying they ride confortable and have no problem that really surprises me becouse Im not able to ride my bike in hot weather
To get that cooling sistem here in my country apart of 50€ postíng I had to pay 150€ to the Customs Office total I payed 500€ more or less 425$
Now the Love jugs is in its box
That was my experience with the cooling sistem
sorry for my english I do my best

Got to agree with softail332. I also had cooling fans and though it may help the engine out a little it really fries the right leg. My fan motor gave out with only a few hours on it and they want $200 for a new one. EBay is full of the same cfm motors for $20 or less but there 30cm to big. In the trash it goes
