Default Please confirm-10 inch PYO no cable change

Those of you who have actually installed these.
No change in stock brake or clutch cable necessary?
I have a RK.
Looked at a thousand threads and pictures and this is the height I want.
These 10's are like most other 12 or 13 I have seen.
Thanks

Cables will be OK but you will be extending the wiring. You will also have to remove the clutch clamp on the nacelle studs. You can also reroute the brake line to go through the forks instead of going around the upper triple tree. It gives you about three additional inches. PM me if you need help. I have done quite a few of these now...

For some reason the wiring on the Roadking is different. I didn't extend anything on my SG either...

Looks like your ride is post 09 so you should be good to go. I am currently putting 10" PYO MMBs on my wife's 07 SG and I was surprised how little extra wire there is to work with. I am going to get by, but when I did my 09 RG there was enough wire to run 12" with ease and probably a lot more.

What some of you may be missing is that the wires are longer in the bikes with fairings. These are going on a Road King. I have done five sets and all had to be extended. There is no way you can do this without wire extensions...

read the thread better and you're right. In fact fairing bikes have more wires but less cable. When we install my buddy's 12", we extend wires but not brake line or clutch cable because they were long enough.
