Default Can I go 200mm Rear Tire on my 2010 FLHX?

I know I've seen threads on this in the past, but damned if I can find one in the search!

I need to start looking for a replacement on the rear tire. Would like to go to a 200mm. Can anyone tell me if the fit is ok on a 2010 Street Glide? If so ...what tire brand makes the best fit? What are we talking ...200/50,55,or 60 series?

I always prefere to match the front and rear tire brand/make. Not sure if Dunlop sells a 200x16"? I will change the front too to keep a match set to get the 200 rear. So ....Metzler, Avon, Michelin?

What do you guys recommend?

I have Avons. Can't remember the exact size. In Kuwait right now, but I'll check in a month when I'm home.

No issues with fitment. There still is clearance with the swingarm, just not as much.

dont think it will work on a 16 but don't quote me on that. I got one on a 17" rear wheel. I like it. and it seems to ride ok.

I dont have a 200 on the back of my SG but did on the back of my 06 Softail (first year of the stock 200mm) and I got at BEST 5K miles out of one. The sides of the tire would be brand new and the middle 2" would be wore to the chords. It was a 17". Just throwing my $.02 out there.

Appreciate the feedback. Wish I could throw a set of 17"/18" Performance Machine wheels on my bike before I replace the rubber, but not yet.

That said ...is anyone running a 200mm on the stock 16"
wheel? If so, what size and brand.

Didn't see an answer here. Can the stock rear wheel handle a 200? And if so...what brand? Sorry if I missed it...im new.
