700 miles and my butt is sore!

I did a search for "Best seat for 2007 Ultra." I got everything from a poll "would you buy a water cooled touring bike" to "do you wear finger less gloves". WTH.
I have a 2007 Ultra. After a 700 mile weekend my tail end was the worse for wear with the stock seat. My question to the knowing. I am 6' 2" and tip the scales around 235 lbs. Suggestions on a good seat for the '07 Ultra and my butt. Thanks.

You and I are the same dimensions. I changed my stock for the Mustang Regal Touring seat, and love it. It took a bit to break it in, but it's pretty damn comfy now. My personal preference, is to keep it between 300-400/per day, but not due to seat discomfort.

I try to keep my long distance rides to 500 miles a day unless just have to get somewhere. That said, I dont care what brand saddle, my *** hurts and I am ready to get off for the day. Have always chosen Corbin but this last time I went with C&C Seats. Top quality, fantastic customer service. Love my SportTourer!

Some have misread my original post. I did not do the whole 700 miles in one day. 350 miles Saturday. Then 350 miles Sunday coming home. It wasn't bad until that last 100 miles or so. Then there was no position I changed to that was comfortable. I have gone "commando" for the last 20 years since a chafing ordeal from hell that summer. Also. It wasn't the miles so much as the time spent in the saddle. As. I was riding some very twisting Texas Hill Country roads.

I suggest instead of "going commando" , try wearing a pair of bicycling shorts, like Under Armor, instead of underwear. Lots of people swear by it, and I think it makes a difference on long trips.
