Personally I love my denim black RGC but I do think a Denim White would look pretty bad *** with maybe a dark gray or black pinstripe

 

I had a black car once. If you don't care what it looks like black is a great color, if you like it clean go with white.

 

I voted Black, but the best one I've seen is White, in Elizabethton TN.

 

 

I vote white. I like my bike to be different from everyone else's (as you can see). It seems like 60-70% of the Harleys out there are black. Us old farts will tell you that white is as classic a color for Harley as black is and looks very sharp on a tourer. (I didn't have time to read this whole thread, but I'm sure Dickey has posted pictures of his.)

Go with the white!

 

Blacks looks very good when new but it is very hard to take care of and keep it looking good all of the time. For that reason I would rather have a White one. Besides, there's just to many Black scoots. That's all there is to it.

Either, as long as it's not white denim: saw an FLHX in that: looked like it was carved from polistyrene!

 

I have one of each but my latest purchase was a White 2012 FLHTCU that I decked out with the works. At Daytona bike week a few weeks ago (I rode mine), all sorts of guys on different colored bikes came up to me and said it was one of the sweetest bikes they had seen. When I ride my black one, all sorts of folks come up to me and say it is the sweetest bike they have ever seen. When I had my blue bike, same deal. So if you are looking for outside praise to boost your self esteem I suppose any color of bike as long as you take care of it, add some bling and polish it up will win you some kind words from folks if that's what matters to you. As far as keeping it clean - they all get dirty if you ride them. I can tell you that if you do long x-country rides and plan on being in the saddle all day and leave the bike parked uncovered in the summer sun - the black ones get hotter than hell, and depending on the sun's angle they will reflect the light into your face. The white ones tend to diffuse that problem. I join in the counsel that you should pick whatever makes you happy and not worry about anything else.
