Go for the CAM upgrade. I went with the SE255 and the bike is fun now. Actually has a little bit of a power band. I like to twist the throttle and have the bike respond.

YES! The cam upgrade makes a big difference. I'm sold on the Woods 555, Jamie and crew have shown near or at 100HP/110TQ on a 103". That is a great bang for the buck, makes these bikes run like they should.

I plan on doing Stage 1 after my first 1000 miles. I still remember what a difference it made on my Deuce. I will have the dealer do it along with the 1000 mile service.

Hope to be doing exactly the same thing either this or next weekend; that is, 1000-service by the dealer, then Jackpot 4" Dyno Tuned mufflers, Pro Billet Stage 1 air cleaner and Nightrider Fl-XiED-10 kit by yours truly.

You guys can do whatever you want, it's your money, but personally I wouldn't have the dealer do **** for me!

Not trying to be an a$$hole. I just want to help people get the right info. The PV is Power Vision and PCV is the Power Commander. Just trying to help.

Amen,
especially with Fuel Moto being as convenient as they are.
I recently grabbed a Power Vision from them with one of their tunes and feel something new everytime I ride.
I had V&H pipes, put a stage 1 breather on it, and now dialed in, and it is a noticable difference. Pulls like a 96" should from 3 grand and up. Can't wait to either cam it or just do the 107" next fall.
But, again, having it tuned makes a very noticable difference, and it didn't run "bad" before, just detuned somethin fierce...........

I have a stage one also. Se a/c, v&h slip ons, but no tuner. I was told when I purchased the bike that was just a dealer flash. How much of a gain would it be to put on a pv or pcv? Autotune or no autotune?

It's not about the gains. It's about making the bike run cooler and smoother throttle response. Actual power gains as measured on a dyno might be minimal.
