Default 12" Torch Industries Apes on 2012 Street Glide (pics)

Bars are on, 12" Bagger Apes from Torch Industries. Quality is top notch and fit was perfect. Wiring wan't the easiest but it wasn't the worst I've done either. 12" measured exactly 12" so that was a nice surprise. They can make these anywhere from 10" to 16" but i didn't want anything to crazy. I ordered them raw and had my local guy powdercoat them so i can't comment on the quality of their coating. I was able to re-route the clutch and brake lines and make them work for the time being. I can see the bottom half of my mirrors so there not completely usless but will be getting changed down the road. Let me know your thoughts? Thanks guys

I think somewhere around 7". The biggest difference is the pullback, these bars keep your hands up and out a bit so you don't feel so cramped.

glad you stated quality was top notch and perfect fit, I talked to Justin and he seems real nice, was gonna go with br but Justins prices were lower without the long wait, your bars look great and not as common as yaffe apes. which I heard are outsourced... (probably to china) gonna pick me up a set from Torch Ind. at least sumthen on the bike will be made in usa.

Looks really good. I am looking at some 12" bars myself. Put 14" on my son-in-laws SG and they are a little higher than I like.

"I heard are outsourced......"

Do you believe everything you hear? It's a bullshit rumor spread by bullshit rumor-mongerers.
Yaffe Monkey bars are made in the U.S. Even their 200 dollar bobber bars are made in the U.S.

do you believe everything you read? from what I heard they used to be made in the usa, but due to not being able to keep up with demand he outsourced. either way I would rather support the lil guy and be able to have em custom made with the amount of pullback, width, height, diameter and exact fit I want. for the same price or cheaper. boogalude this is straight from the horses mouth off of Yafee's site.... Finally we have reworked the manufacturing process for our Monkey bars due to the demand for them. Previously the bars were handmade one set at a time. Now they are being manufactured using a new process, which allows the company to also reduce the final price. does not say where this new process takes place. might be in the same country his stretched tanks come from.
