For performance a 2-1-2 pipe is always better . But the difference on a stock or stage 1 bike is minimal so buy what suits your eye and ear. Very different sounds from true duals and 2-1-2 pipes.

If you decide to go 2-1-2 Id look at the Fuel Moto stainless pipe or the Fulsac X pipe over the Power Duals. I have the PD and its ok but those other pipes are better made and dont scrape like the PD does on rt turns

Ok, this is something I'm interested in as well. I've read the other threads, lots of dyno tunes & numbers for the Power Duals.

Anyone got HP/TQ for the true duals?

I like the looks and sound of the true duals, but I'd also like to not lose any HP and torque.

Cheers

I have a 2010 Street Glide and went with the dresser duals and monster ovals with black tips. I liked the smooth pipe look rather than the cross-over, and they sound and look good! I get a lot of compliments on them too. I'll have to look at the numbers tomorrow from my dyno and post.

No dyno numbers from me. I've got power duals with monster rounds, and wanted to keep the 2-1-2 config for the most low-end performance I could muster out of a stage 1. Very pleased with the look of the crossover on this pipe - that's the only reason I didn't go with the F-M head pipe.

Now, the one thing I didn't expect was the right hand turn scrape "feature" that comes with this pipe. Made a hard, fast corner the other day and threw a bunch of sparks. As I totally nailed my floorboard, I thought that was the extent of it. Ohhhh, no. When installing my new Harley Goodies floorboard extensions this evening, I found the deep scrape on the crossover heat shield. Hmmm. Well at least now I should have a bit more floorboard warning with the wider-set boards.... The good news is that the scrape is on the bottom, so you have to be looking really hard while the bike is on the jiffy stand to see it.

I went DD's with monster ovals all black with chrome tips, looks and sounds great!
If you can get past the look the PD's would be the better performer...

I just installed Dresser Duals & 4" Black out Rounds and think they're great. I did lose power heading off from a stop, I'm a big guy, but don't notice it as much as at first. Have a Power Vision on the way from Fuelmoto, which should help that.

Also got it from Eastern Performance as well. Great company with free shipping.
