if the oil you are using isn't any good, you will have burned your motor up by now!!

I've tried them all in all 3 holes mostly mobile 1 v twin. In the engine and primary I can't tell any difference with the synthetics, but in the tranny the Redline with shockproof is by far better than anything else. The shifting clunk is quieter, the whine is less and it slips into neutral much easier. I'm sold on Redline's oil change kit with the hat.

Default Why should I use Redline vs other synthetics?

I have only tried Syn3, Mobil1 V-Twin and Spectro 4 Stroke Heavy Duty Twin.

The Spectro runs 5 degrees cooler than the Mobil1 and 17 degrees cooler than Syn3 in my RKC (30 min. idle at the same ambient temp.).

It is a little expensive but:
www.spectroshop.com will ship it to your door.

Keep the dirty side down.

I'm not an oil expert but since I've been using RedLine oils in the 3 holes of my Ultra I've noticed less engine noise, easier to find N, but honestly I can't swear about any temperature drops since I don't have a temp gauge. The down side about RedLine oils is the price, since they don't sell it here in Italy I'm having it shipped from their Belgian distributor and I just paid them E 165 ($ 215) for a 3 hole complete change. But I love my bike and my wife and they only get what I think is the best!
