I received my UltraSound kit and installed it per the directions. When I power up the bike, the amp powers on and I get a hissing (quite loud) through the front speakers. This is with the radio off, or with it on with volume turned down. PEZ is on holiday until Monday, and this is aggrevating me. Anyone else experience this, or did I screw something up?

Even if PEZ is out until Monday, I would give Hogtunes a call, they have some pretty good people to help.

Try moving the ground for the amp unless its in a plug in type setup. Check all of your connections. In my car stereo days we called this Flies Fu##ing!

 

Spoke with PEZ who explained that the system is designed to power on with the ignition key and will power the speakers even without the radio on. Harley radios do not have the proper connection to allow remote start up when radio is turned on. As he told me "you will not notice with the bike running" and I agree.

The rear speaker addition and the amp really rock! Volume not even close to full really blasts nice and clear. Easy install and great components. Highly recommended.
