Default How hot is too hot to ride?

Just curious....it is 108 today and I was wondering at what temperature do you say to yourself that it is too hot?

Yeah - about that, 105 plus. It depends a little on how hot the road surface is. Blacktop can get a lot hotter than the measured temp in the shade.

Dont know. 126* didnt stop me and I would do it agian. I like it best around 90*.

It's not really the heat that gets me,it's the damn humidity!

Well, I really like to ride. I don't mind the heat but if I were to burst into flames, then I'd say it was too hot to ride.

I've rode Death Valley in the summertime at a buck twenty+
but that was a dry heat. Doubt I could ride anywhere near that hot with much humidity

Rode in 112 degree temps in Vegas and South Dakota. Never too hot to ride!!
