Default Passing Light Bracket Question

Any idea why the passing light bracket supporting the lights on each side on the Ultra has two holes kinda near the bend. Was thinking of using them to mount something . . .

Exactly. Seems to me the bracket has more holes than necessary ...

I think it's so as you can slide a screwdriver through one of them to undo the indicators. At least, that's what I used one for the other day.
