Default Welded shut right side break line

Has anyone ever cut & welded shut the right side break line to make the front wheel have single side breaks? When I did a search I saw how people changed the master cylender and just got a single cable like on the soft tails but wanted to know if this was ever done?

Thanks for any imput on this topic!

that would make the remaining caliper too twitchy.

the master cylinder size ( bore and stroke) is matched to the caliper bore and stroke X pistons X number of calipers.

with only 1 caliper and the stock master, the wheel would probably about lock with just a slight application of the brake lever
