Default storage for helmets

Curious as to what everyone uses to carry there helmets on the ultrac classics. this is the first ultra we have owned and only wear our helmets when we have to. one is a full face and the other is a half. we have the hd storage bags for them but didnt know thw best way to haul them. were thinking a cargo net strapped over them on the luggage rack woild prefer to have them both in one bag but havent found one. jusr hoping for some ideas.

On your heads is the best solution.

Ummm, your head!

Sorry man, couldn't resist... :-)

Won't they both fit in the tour-pak if your not packed down for a trip? I know two half helmets will fit.

If your traveling, two 1/2 helmets could probably secured with a bungee cargo net on the tour-pak luggage rack.

The TP will hold 2 full face helmets unless you have a bunch of crap in there. That is where my helmets stay when not on my bean.

for long road trips i got a tourpackrack, and a nelson-riggs gwr1000 holds 2 full face lids with room to spare and holds its shape when empty, stays relatively dry even without the included rain cover.

remember when you're parked somewhere that your helmet might get stolen, you can use a firearm/pistol cable thing with the padlock. the cable easily goes through the D-rings of the helmet strap and you can lock your helmet to the crash bar, handlebars, wherever you like. it's a simple and cheap way to secure your helmet if you're away from your bike.

When I (or we) travel I usually have a canvas bag on top of the TP for sneakers, dirty clothes, etc.
I use a garbage bag inside the canvas bag just to keep stuff from getting soaked.
THis would work well for you helmets.
I also carry at least one cargo net so if the bag gets too full I can pull my rain gear out of my saddlebag and put it under the cargo net and shift some stuff into the saddlebag.
