Default 2012 FLTRX 103" Bone Stock w/475 miles

Guys, opinions needed.
As stated in the subject line.
This ride is number nine for me and after having a very wide variety of bikes with power plants all the way up to an S&S 124 crate, I've decided to keep this baby damn near bone stock. WHY: sick of the noise and my hearing sucks so it makes for a bad combo when trying to listen to them tunes.

However, I am looking for input to get away from the "extreme lean tuning" HD Moco programs into the ECM. What I am considering is a Stage 1 kit (air cleaner only). I'm guessing I won't need a flash or tuner due to the HD closed loop system. I will not open my pipes up (punch), remove the cat or add slip-ons.

As for the power, it runs fine in stock form.

Thanks,
Tony

If I had a current model scoot I would remove the cat from the head pipe, put some slipon muffs on it, switch to an Andrews 54 cam and have it professionally tuned with an SE racetuner or equivalent.

Put an A/C on it and use a Power Vision or Power Commander V from Fuel Moto and one of their tunes to get away from the lean running MoCo smog tune!

I would call Jaime @ Fuel Moto on Monday and I'm sure he could answer any questions that you have, but I think that you only have to run their O2 sensors if you use the Auto Tune setup.

With the power commander the o2 sensors are unplugged.

PCV or maybe those resistors they call Xieds. If all you wanna do is run richer, just about any tuner will do that for you.

I find it interesting that with your experience and the number of bikes you say you have owned that you come to us for advice. I would have thought you would be very knowledgeable on the direction you would need to go. Maybe this is your first Harley?

I'm not sure what your question is, but if you leave it stock it will last forever (at least 150,000 miles anyway) and save you a boat load of money.
