i just bought a 96 electra gluide, been in a garage for 18months, rebuilt the carb and thought all was good until i filled up with gas and the right gas cap leaked gas all over, call the gentelman i bought it from and he said he got the caps from J @ P cycles, so got new and installed, no leaking, but will not run over 30 mph, staving for gas, unlocked the right cap and it will run great, these cap are nonvented, the gentelman i bought the bike from said they have to be vented, or the right side one, went to J @ p got no where, i need help.

 

An ElectraGlide only has one gas cap. What ya got there my friend is a Road King.
Help? No problemo, get a vented cap and ride.
