Default Do i have to use premium gas?

So the book says to use premium gas, but i see that some of you don't? Bike is stock except for slip on's. Gas is pretty steep here in Ct.

I have used regulr but only when I culdn't find premium and sill had half a tank so itwas mixed. just think you could save like $.50 by not using it sound slike a pretty good gambe to me. NOT!!!

depends on the bike ...try it and see if it pings..if it doesn't then you good.

Does your bike ping on low octane gas? if not, run it.

If it says to use it. Use it. Cheap out on lawn fertilizer, food, wine, beer, haircuts, shaving cream, blades. Not your bike.

+1 Seriously, Steve? You've got a problem paying an extra $.50 or $.60 to fill the tank?

How much more is premium a gallon over regular? 20, 30 cents maybe? x's 5 gallons is $1.oo to $1.50 a fill up. C'mon man.

Hey, that extra buck and a half could get him a Big Gulp on a hot day!! (NYC excluded, of course)

Hey whatever works for ya man ! Try it and see...could even try the new E-85 or E-15 gas if you want. Report back and let us know what happened.
