Default Biketronics adapter

I looked on their website and it looks like certain adapters are for certain manufacturers of aftermarket head units. That being said do they make an adapter for any headunit I would buy? I am looking to buy the Pioneer AVH6300BT which is a 7" touchscreen flip out DVD player, Just want to make sure I can get the correct biketronics unit so I can still use my hand controls.

Have you tried calling or e-mailing them? They do have a multi-brand install kit that says it works with Pioneer decks.

Jay,
Pioneer is listed on their website as being compatible. I believe that it is the universal adapter (BT1005) with a setting on the back for different head units.
Allows for use of JVC, Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, and Sony*
Radios must have a wired remote input, sometimes called a steering wheel remote input.
Still, I would call them to be sure. For three years I have been using their adapter with an Alpine head unit and it performs very well.

I did send them an email but never got a response, so I figured I would ask here as well as PM GlacierPearl

I noticed the kit that BT sells has the install kit, antenna, as well as the module. Are you saying that this is the module alone if all I want is to retain handlebar controls?

There has to be on Douchebag in every crowd who thinks he needs to tell others what they should do with their bike and if he doesn't agree it is wrong.- and no, I haven't been to a bike night in years. I just want to be a bit different.

When I PM Glacier he linked me to the PN: BT 1005 which I think would be correct but for some reason when I searched their site all I saw was modules that seemed to worked with Sony's, apparently I wasn't looking deep enough

Thanks everyone for your positive help

Can't comment on their email service, but before I bought a complete kit from them, I called with a few questions and the tech spent as much time as needed answering them, and after the sale had a quick (minor) question that was answered right away.

Excellent service and highly recommended.
