Default New owner of a 96 Road King with a question

I brought my beauty home last week and I love riding her
The only thing I can't figure out is what the right-hand switch opposite the passing light switch does. The manual says nothing about it and, best I can tell, it does nothing. If that's the case I want to tie my garage door opener to it. Any ideas?

should be an auxiliary power plug under the seat

there are many mods for the garage door opener- my fave is using a relay on the high beam, so that when you flick the high beam, the garage door opener sends a signal.

you can search for the various mods.

welcome to the forums.

If it's a 96, the switch is likely not connected to anything at all. You'll have to take the nacelle off and wire something to it. I don't believe they put the aux power jack under the seat until alter. At least, that was how my 94 RK was wired.
