Actually it's ABS against sheet metal. Mine was making noise when I decelerated.

for mine its not the rubber, but running the zip thru that hole stopped the noise. easy way to check is get your bike in 3rd doing 40mph and just lean back while its vibrating and put some pressure on it.

ok so this seems to work. im heading off to ride yellowstone this weekend so we'll see if it holds up and im bring zipties with me as backup lol

i got a 1/4 x 4" eye bolt and some 1/4 connectors and a 1/4 nylon screw adjusted them until the were long enough to put pressure on the fascia. then i ran a 5/16 x1" bolt thru the hole in the saddlebag bracket usung 5/16 cut washer then a rubber fender washer, eye bolt, fender washer the a lock washer and nut. attached a pic.

Or................... just turn up your stereo so you can't hear it.

I just used two very thing rubber strips behind the lower part of the rear facia where the metal brackets on each side made contact. Took care of it for me.

so what you guys are saying is the trim piece (fascia) is rubbing up against something else close to the antenna hole? the pics provided with previous posts show what has been done but I can't make out where exactly the vibrations is.

that piece moves quite a bit, all i know is when i grab it while riding the buzz (which sounds like a loose license plate) stops.

and no, nothing is touching it

I have the same vibration noise coming from my 2012 SG. I assumed it was the license plate frame vibrating.. I haven't figured it out for sure but it is the only thing I can come up with for my noise. good luck with yours.

I swapped out the stock license plate holder for the HD Curved Plate Holder. put all the foam mounting pieces on it so I might rule out the plate holder.

sixsix.... what piece are you actually grabbing when riding?

I had the exact same issue. I found the rattle, took a couple pics and posted what I did. Here is the post:
