Just bought a 2012 Ultra Classic. Not real found of the seat and the wife hates it. I weigh 160 and wife 120. Our 1999 Ultra had a Pillow seat we loved. But this bike is made a little different. So don't know if that would be the right choice. Have looked at the Hammock seat and the Road Zeppelin Air Adjustable. Don't want to spend that kind of money if they don't work. Please let me know your experiences. What do you guys like?

 

Sundowner...try it, pretty much all dealers have the demo seat program now.

 

I run a road zeppelin on my ultra and couldn't be happier. I'm a bigger guy though. Its a wider seat. you didn't say how tall you were.

 

I'm 5-10" tall

 

I have the same model as u but '09. Beleive it or not, I like and kept the stock saddle.

But with my '06 Heritage, I used the SUNDOWNER. <-- That was really nice! I do not know if they make the sundowner for the Ultra Classic but I sure would check into it if I was going to change it.

Greetings, I bought a Mustang seat for my Ultra with wide passenger seat (two-piece) and it's much more confortable than the stock set up.

 

I picked up a CVO seat for my 2010 Ultra and love it. I'm 6'3, 315

 

Price was right too! $200.00 shipped...

I posted this once before, and I'll say it again , your seat has 1/2 " of cheap foam that collapses with little pressure. Your seat should be fine unless there is a ergonomics problem.Go to your local uphositery shop and have them install 2 " of high density foam. I had my 2011 ultra done and the difference is , I can ride 400 miles in a day with no problem for me or the wife, by the way just back from Sturgis and I have 25,000 miles on the bike.
Please don't waste the money on a new seat, unless money is no object
