Default Seat Bag Choices

Okay, most of the time I depend on my fellow riders for a host of mechanical issues and maintenance tips, and this time I'm strayting a bit with my question. I'm looking forward to my next trip with my crew and I am the only one without a seat bag. We get in at night and the other three are on their way to dinner while I'm still pulling together my overnight stuff from the tour pak and saddlebags.

Any suggestions on a good quality seat bag for my FLHTCU. I want to be able to unhook and go so I'm not late for dinner.

I use the big Tbag, it fits on the pass seat and is a great back rest.

These fellow riders of yours - are they keeping a secret from you - will they not tell you what they use?! You don't actually need a seat bag, just a bag or two that fit inside your tourpak and saddle bags. Harley make tailored bags, as do other brands. You can be even more cool with a set of them......

Consider a small, waterproof duffel bag.

FWIW, most of the "cool" looking mc bags are not waterproof...hence the need for a rain cover or liner.

I'd loan you mine but that would probably delay you further. Also I notice a lot of noise coming from the back of the bike when she's along.

I have the HD by SAC seat bag which harley no longer sells - it is lined with pvc so very very waterproof. I think HD discontinued it because on Ultras, they had a problem with it tearing the rear speaker grills. I don't have rear speakers . it is engineered to attach easily. My buddy uses a t-bag - and lines it with a hefty garbage bag.
for trips when I don't need a seat bag - I use the HD trunk bag - open the trunk, grab the bag and in the room - I can travel for 7 days with the trunk bag for clothes and stuff and saddlebags for riding necessities. when passenger with me, a second bag attaches to trunk rack (mine in the trunk, hers on top, right saddlebag for me, left saddlebag for her). we can travel 2 weeks with some throw-away clothes (to make room for purchases) and 1 laundry night.

Seat bag?
I thought you were in need of something to put a seat in?
