Default Dash fading?

Sup guys, I have a '99 ultra classic and one thing that I have noticed is areas of the dash especially the upper outer areas above the speakers is fading and kind of turning white.... I tried to use some armor all in an attempt to restore some shine into it but the armor all didn’t do a thing?

Is there anything I can do to restore the shine and appearance of that whole dash piece other than taking the whole thing off and having it painted? Thanks for any advice, tricks or ideas that some of your seasoned pros use to keep your bikes looking sweet!

I wonder if Pig Spit would help in this case.

Try Kiwi shoe polish. Apply to a soft cloth, wipe it in, dry overnight, then gently buff. Works good for me.

Back to Black would be my first choice also. Meguiars makes a rubbing compound called ULTIMATE COMPOUND , I've never used it on the inner fairing but might be good a choice also. Works well on oxidized paint.

This may sound strange, but a friend uses Doc Bailey's Leather Tonic on his inner fairing. Makes it nice and black with a slight shine. His fairing (2001) was really looking bad before he tried the Doc Bailey's. My inner still looks good, so I'm not going to try it ....... yet.
