Introducing "Candy"
I would like to introduce to you my newest baby I picked up yesterday. Her name is "Candy".
She is Candy Orange/Beer Bottle. 1690cc of smooth beauty!
It is about a 24 mile trip to my Harley dealer where I picked her up. Could not wait to get her home and rub on it a little to get all the finger marks from dealership off of her. As I approached my road, I could not make the turn so I just kept on riding to the next town where I rode around a little before stopping to show the wife at her job and a few of her co-workers that have been following my bike purchases. After putting a hundred miles on her, she ended up at the house where I gave her a good polishing and installed my lever covers and highway pegs.
I have had a '72 Honda CB360, '74 Electra Glide, '80 Kawasaki 750 LTD, '96 Sportster 883 Hugger, '96 Heritage Softail Nostalgia and now the 2013 Road King. I have to say that the Road King is the closest ride to my old Electra Glide. Very smooth and just enough rumble to tell me she is a Harley Davidson.
I have a bunch of pics, but will only post a couple to show. I know how it can be when a father shows his newborn baby pictures! lol.
I hope you like the pics. The camera does not do the paint any justice at all.
I forgot to mention I have cruise control, but did not get the ABS/Security System. I would have had to order the bike that way and did not care to pay the extra for the extras I did not like any way!

It was a hard toss between this or the Anniversary model brown and I am so much more happier that I chose this one. I cannot get over the smooth ride. Others have said about the heavy vibration from motor at a traffic light and I do feel some, but not near as much as I thought I would feel according to some posts.
