Default Want to move my trunk forward, whats needed?

07 EGC. I want to move my trunk forward and use it as a backrest.
What do I need as far as parts.
e.g. A new quick detach bracket for the tour pack?? New seat.
Or is it something custom.
I do not want the sliding gizmo.

HD makes a quick detach bracket to mount the TP in the solo position. Have to run a solo seat with it and use the passenger backrest mounting points. I made my own quick detach bracket to work with the stock SG seat. Really comfortable as it's custom made to fit me. I've lowered it an inch and painted it since the photo.

I did pretty much the same thing. You may need to get two things. The forward (solo) docking hardware, about $40, the forward (solo) quick connect mounting bracket, about $100 on eBay. It bolts to tour pak same as two-up bracket does. Now to the problem - the backrest will still be to far back by about 2". I removed the backrest and made three 3" extensions to move the pad out and down, works great. Then covered up all the hardware with a vinyl cover. Hope this helps.

Here is a pic, kind of hard to see with my black bike. I also got a solo sundowner, incredibly comfortable seat.
