Default Help! Please Need Input

Just sold my 06 Street Glide cause the wife wants comfort. Was looking for an Ultra and came across this.

http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/mcd/3359847603.html

I may be able to get it for a good price. It does have ABS and a race tune. It has 700 miles so it is just like new. Lots of chrome. Is it worth it? I know KBB shows $18K but there is a ton of chrome, stage 1 with true dual Rineharts.

Please help he make the decision. Thanks all.

I know I don't post a lot but ya'all have a lot more knowledge than I. Thanks again.

Agreed. 4 years because of the 13's but basically new with a lot of extras. Maybe $20K? I know the 13's have the 103 but there has got to be 8-9K of extras with race tuner and all that chrome. And with 700 miles on it, it's like a brand new bike minus the 103. So worth it? I'm really torn. Thanks.

Beautiful bike! Lot of things to think about. It has the new frame, but the new ones have the 103 motor. I love my 96. It runs great, but would like to have the little extra power. Good luck, any one you get you and you're wife are gonna love it. Personally, I think you're gonna wish you got the 103. You can add the extra chrome later.

Definitely not worth the $23k they are asking. Nice looking bike though with some nice accessories.

Last year when I was getting ready to pick up my CVO Ultra I sold my 2010 Ultra with 8k miles,Vance and Hines dresser duals, monster ovals, race tuner and other extras for $17,200 the market is flat and there are good deals out there, I dont think that 09 for 22,995 is anywhere close to the ballpark.

People want to use KBB as a guide, but the market is what it is, check ebay completed listings and see what they are really selling for.

The more chrome the more time waxing and cleaning that could be used for riding and beer. jmho.

I'm thinking $20K?

The riding and beer was too damn funny!

$22,300 is approaching, if not at, the price for a brand new Ultra. If you were to trade that bike in you would get nothing for all the extras on it. But of course these guys are trying to make money on something they paid little of nothing for.

Its a gorgeous bike no doubt, but way, way overpriced IMHO at what they are asking. If the bike is worth a bit more to you than book then certainly go that route, but a little...not $4k worth. If it were me I would call them and see if they come back to reality, if not I would walk.

If the only thing stopping you is the 103 dont let it, there's not that much seat of pants diff to discount the bike...if you can get them to come down on the cost....remind them all the extra's are never reimbursed.
