Default electra front fender compatibility

hey guys and gals, i've tried searching for this with no luck. I have a 2003 electra classic that needs a front fender. I've been told to look for years 2000-2006. My question is: what is the difference between a 2003 and, say a 1998 fender? I don't see much difference with my untrained eyes.

Not a 100% but I do not think there is any difference. Who told you there was?

While I can't answer the question about the difference.... I can tell you Dennis Kirk sells a replacement front fender for your bike

You'll have to work it a bit, but with paint to match, it's still cheaper than a HD fender... (which you'd have to paint), and it was cheaper than many used fenders I saw as well

yeah no hd bought fenders here! i've seen a few on ebay that are beat up, i could fix and paint them myself. The only problem is some of the sellers don't know the year of the bike they came off of.

I have a 04 Ultra and my front fender came from a 2006 CVO bought on ebay. It bolted on like a charm.

94-later Road Kings or 89-later Electra Glide fenders will work.

Default Electra front fender

Hi. Check with a.i. Chopper. They have fews styles less than 100.00. Be sure you look for the right fender mount on it mrfuji

I have just installed a 2003 front fender on my 1990. Bolts right up, however there are differences, such as holes for mounting an 'Ultra' or similar chrome badge each side. I redrilled mine to take original 'Electra Glide' badges.

I couldn't easily remove the fender tip lamp or other trims from my original fender, so bought new ones, also a speedo cable guide (for those with a front wheel speedo drive that is still available).

they will fit. a heratige fender ,which to some might look like a dresser fender, will not bolt directly on but can be made to fit with adapters. like the ones used to bolt a fatboy fender on a roadking.
