Default CVO Seat

Hello everyone. Besides cosmetics- stitching, etc. Does anyone know if there is a difference between a CVO Streetglide seat and a stock SG seat, such as comfort level? Thanks.

I hear you get lower MPG but 10% more HP with that seat.

Yeah it's useless for long haul comfort. If it didn't come on your bike, I wouldn't waste the cash on it. I gave away the seat on my old '12 CVO RGC, worst seat I have ridden on to date.

My $0.02

The CVO street glide seats are a two piece design where you can remove the passenger pillion separately.

And, they are more comfortable than the stock seat.

i wish i had known that when you got it. i bought a cvo roadglide seat for my bike. second most comfortable seat i've ridden. the first is the corbin, but for these newer models, they sit higher. i've got short legs, so had to go with the cvo seat.

I placed a 09' CVO RG seat on my 08 SG. Then had Motor City mod the seat with gel and memory foam....absolute bet seat I've ever had. Screamin Eagle seats are LESS modifiable because their isnt much leather to work with, Motor City will tell you the same.

My CVO street glide seat is 2 piece so you can remove the passenger portion for a nice solo look. As far as comfort, I would say it pretty much sucks for long rides which is to be expected for a stock seat. Definitely a nicer looking seat though.
