Default Tach Signal Wire?

Hey everyone. I usually dont post anything and just search if I have a question but cant find a answer this time. I want to put a tach in my Dead Center fairing on my 2003 Road King Police. It did not have one on when I bought the bike. I have the 2003 Touring Models service manual. However, I do not have the manual for the Police models. My book shows the pink wire being the tach signal wire for the Road King. But is it the same for the Police Road King? Thanks.

I have an '03 FLHRI and put a police tach on and used the pink wire. I would think that they would not have multiple wiring harnesses for the same basic model. Give it a try. Have you located the wire yet? Was bundled up under the tank on mine.
