Question Will SG Tri Bar & filler strips work on 2010 Ultra?

I have searched here & did not find what I am looking for. I am toying with the idea of removing the rear fender tip light & bag rails from my 2010 Ultra Classic & installing the SG Tri bar light and bag filler strips. Does anybody know if this is a bolt on? Will I have any visable holes in the rear fender to worry about filling after removing the existing fender tip light? I would rather not have to get into any paint or body work. Any info from anyone that has done this is appreciated.

I think - but am not 100% sure - there are mounting holes for the rear fender tip light. I'm basing that on the HD tri bar fender extension kit (page 665 of the 2013 catalog p/n 67774-10). That kit looks to have a chrome panel mounted above the tri bar light. However, the kit only covers '99 to '08 models. As you know rear fenders and the fender tip lights changed after that.

Yea, I know the earlier one wont work. I was talking about the later model tri bar where the filler strips & the tri bar lite cover are one piece (or appear to be) & color matched.

The 09 parts manual lists a rear fender for the FLHX only. Don't know what the difference is.

Will it bolt up to your bike, yes. Will you have a huge hole in the fender where the lights for the old fender tip light was, yes. Your gonna need a new fender also, used setups are 3-400ish depending on shipping and you can likely get one in your color.

I am presently doing the same thing and after hours of looking at different ways, etc i finally decided im just gonna buy a new fender complete--it will be cheaper and easier in my opinion. What color is your bike? I looked around alot and might beable to send you in the right direction for one

I will be selling my vivd black '09SG SG rear fender. I plan on getting the **** into the paint shop in a few weeks. Asking $350 w/o shipping. Would be fender, fascia, all stock lights. Also have upgraded lights for all if interested.
