Default Help finding a part.

Want to hook up my iPod and have it come through my faring speakers. Yes, I know HD offers one - but it's 4 bills. Thought I'd ask here if there are any other options out there.

I'm not absolutely sure about this, but I think the jack on the front of the factory radio is for this purpose.

Iron Cross Audio has something for that, but its still 400. I'd just get an audio cord and hook your Ipod into the jack on the radio, its like 10-15 bucks at Walmart

Maybe I had the wrong cord last time I tried. So, with this cord you're talking about, would the music come through my faring speakers?

From the '09 Touring owner's manual: "When an audio CD/MP3 disc is inserted into the CD player the CD function is added to the selections. When a 1/8 in. (3.5mm) connector is plugged into the AUX input port the AUX function is added to the selections. The LCD display indicate the function selected."
This mean that when you insert the plug you have to move your selection from FM or AM to AUX. It should work then.
