Default 1998 efi question

I read a number of articles here about swapping from efi to carbs. I have a 98 electra police. Should I switch to carbed or would a screaming eagle tuner correct the efi issues? What makes the most sense as far as performance?

My brotherinlaw has a 97 police and he had EFI issues but took his time and corrected them. Find someone that knows that system and you will be very happy.

What he found was chaffed wires in the headlight bucket and a bad cam sensor.

Good luck in whichever way you choose.
