Went to Buy Road Glide Pickin Up Ultra Tomorrow

Congrats on the new Ultra!!!
My oldest brother recently traded-off his RG Ultra for the Ultra Limited and couldn't be happier!!
Over the past 8+ years, he went from the EG Classic, to an Ultra Classic, to a SG, to the RG Ultra, and now to the Ultra Limited.
He never really cared for the RG Ultra and always felt like he was "on top" of the bike, and not sitting down into it.
(And he made all kinds of mods to make it his, but never really 'felt' the RG, or its top-heavy ride.)
His favorite thing about the Limited, is the balanced feel and ride!! He's in Augusta, so he's been on that bike every day now and loving it!
Nothing against the F'ugly, but according to his experiences (and 35+ years of HD riding) you made the right choice!!
Enjoy!

Congrats on buying the bike that suits your needs best....it doesn't
pay to follow the masses if your bike doesn't fit you.
Having never sat on the Ultra, let alone ridden one, I can't
draw any comparison between the two.
My f'ugly fits my needs to a T..... of course modifications
are a never ending process once you start !!!

fixed my wind noise and buffeting with a mako shield from long ride.i knew i was gona look at the rgc when I went to dealership. kind of wanted to go with the rgu but im so dang short and the way I have to mount bike makes me have to throw leg out and I always kick the **** out of the passenger set up. if my knees were not blown out and could bend them more I would have went to rgu.im a shorty but been riding long time so I have no prob handling the big bikes.with that being said I will say im very happy with my rgc. hope you enjoy new ride and be safe. enjoy your ultra, very sharp bikes.
