Default Wanted...Hard Bags

Does any one know where I can get a set of used hard bags (other than ebay) for my road king classic? I want to replace the factory leather bags.

Thanks for the help

Check out the "Wanted to Buy" section of this forum; I have used it a couple of times with good results.

I have a brand new set of police birch white I would sell.
They are from an 01 roadking police. Never been installed.
The only difference I know of between these and standard bags is the hockey puck
on the lid for opening and closing, instead of the lift latch on the side.
They were priced in 2004 at $595.00 each from Harley.
pm me with an email address.

I got a pair of hard bags off a friends wrecked bike. He turned out okay after a good bit of time. Anyway, I found a guy that could fix and paint them but it was going to cost about $750. Nothing to buy, the guy was going to fix and patch everything. Fortunately my friend gave me the wrecked bags. I was surprised however at the price so I called local Harley dealer and was surprised to find the lids were only $89 and the bags were $185. Primed and ready to paint. Which is what I am going to do. You might think about going this route and check with ebay for the hardware. BTW, the price I noted are list. As usual I will order them through Zanotti and save another 20% which should get me new bags and lids for $400.
