Default Cee Bailey's Windshields - STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS

With all the recent issuesof vendors not standing behind their products, I thought it would be appropriate to relate my positive experience with Cee Baileys.

In Nov 2006, I purchased a Cee Bailey's SSC windshield for my 2007 Street Glide. It was a 12" version with dark gray tint.A couple of weeks ago, whileinstalling a set of HogTunes speakers I noticed the windshield had two small cracks forming around thebottom center mounting hole. Whenthe windshield was removed from the bike, one of the cracks "ran out" and the windshield broke. Being a pessimist, I assumedI was out $100 bucks (boy was I wrong!!) and put the broken windshield in the original bubble wrap on the shelf. I finished the HogTune speaker install and put a different windshield on the bike.

A few days later, I took a couple digital pictures and sent an email to Cee Bailey's....didn't "rant and rave" just explained what happened and asked for a replacement. Two hours later, Ken of Cee Bailey's sent a short e-mail;

Jerry,

I'll have production put in a replacement order for the shield right away.
We'll send it to your address listed below.

Thanks,

Ken

The replacement windshied arrived, in perfect condition, just four days afterthe original email and it had to travel from Cee Bailey's in California all the way to the Southeast.

Now that's great customer service!!

I had a very similar experience. Soon after getting my first one, I broke it during install. It was likely my fault and I told them as much. They sent me a replacement within two days no questions asked.
I love my 13" but think the 12 or 11" ones look cooler. How tall are you and how does the 12" work for you?

PEZ with the Hogtune Speakers is a stand up guy too. I have read on here were there were a few issues with some orders and he to resolved the issue in no time too.

I'm 5-11 and the 12" works good. There is a little turbulence especially if I "sit-tall" on purpose. I will probably go for a 13" or 14" for next winter. I run a shorter shield for cruising in town.

I am 5'8" and have the 12" windsheild. It's equal to a stock 9" and I look over mine with ease.

Thats great to know. I bought a 13" dark smoke last summer and I'll never go back to riding behind a regular windshield after experiencing the smooth air pocket with this shield....despite the wife not really caring for its looks. [I think they look great]

I also had a great exp. with them. I bought a 12" but it was to high. I returned it for a 10" no questions asked!! It is people like this and Mark at M&M cycles who make up for the ones like Draggin Baggers and Hard Krome!! Good customer service is the KEY to any SUCESSFUL business!!

I've got the traditional straight low profile 9" Cee Baily windshield on my bike and like it alot. Good to hear a company being to stand-up with their products. That assures a return customer!
