Default True Duals - Power Loss??

I am considering Rinehart True duals for my 07 Ultra Classic. However, I remember reading in the forums about power loss with true duals. Is this a significant power loss. Give me your feedback please.

You will loose some low end torque using any true duals on a harley bagger.

Its not so much a loss as it is a reasignment, true duals will move the power band upward. This will be felt as a loss in low end torque.

When I did mine, also did the PCIII and SE aircleaner at the same time. Doing the package yielded a much better seat of the pants response. Didn't notice the torque loss down low (although I have no doubt that I would've without the other items) and it definitely feels stronger up top. Love the sound from true duals and thankfully the other upgrades compensates for their use. True duals (and headers) usually increase top end (HP) and give up some low end (TQ). Even see those numbers reflected in dual exhaust setups on cages.

Ihad V&H true duals with SERT installedlast year on my 06 Ultra. No power loss at any range. Feels like it gave mine a boost in power, bottom, mid and top end.

Nobody said you would not have more power with upgrades over your stock setup, just if you had done the same thing but went with free flow slip ons or for sure the best setup a two into one setup you would not only feel more low end you would see more torque in your dyno numbers. You can scream I got torque, but if your running true duals, you will have less of it than if you run a two into one exhaust. This is not a guess this is backed up in hard data.
