Wow!
I looked and wasn't impressed..sorry.not bitching just voicing my opinion....
don't care for the fairing or trunk, don't care for the dash layout, don't like the looks of the vent in the fairing. I love my windshild bags, very useful...not on the 14's...I like saddlebag guards...no CB standard??? WTF? Colors...naw...
Stereo? OK it's cool and all but that will wear off soon enough...headlights are very nice and I would like to have them. One handed bags? OK nice I guess...no removing the trunk anymore because of the turn signals in the trunk only...????
But a lot of other improvments could have been done...electric windshild, vent? put it in the windshild...center stand standard, electric reverse would have been useful..
No bitching, just my opinions....nothing more.

I truly hate the vent, i sort of liked it in the matte black fairing but i wish it was at least painted. Visually it bugs me a bit. I also don't like the layout inside the fairing. I think I could enjoy the infotainment system, the stock radio on my 12 isn't the sexiest thing, i might look for options one day.
One handed saddle bags, sweet but not worth getting sad about mine.liquid cooled, couldn't care less, period. I don't like the lowers that much so i never put them on my bike but i just really don't care for the look on the street glide.
Now for styling. I hate the shape of the bags, yeah i'll get used to it like i always do but it's lost the classic look, the new top box isn't my style at all. Congrats Harley, you finally built a Victory. I've had mine for 15 months and 4 months ago added a street bob, so i'm set anyway, but this time(and i love all new stuff) i think the styling is just a wee bit to roundish.
Love the new SG wheels though, very cool

I dont understand it either, but like I said in another thread:
"I'm sure you can buy plenty of used 1969 Chevelles, but to expect GM to keep making them is a bit nutty"
I can't believe how many folks are posting negatives about the new models with no experience on them. What is it, can't cope with change?, Jealous?, Just like to bit*h? Hmmmmm.
I checked out the new models in person, and I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed. Harley hit a home run this year. Too bad I don't have the cash to trade up.

I'm not going to bitch, I'm just going to say that the waterglides are here to stay. If you like them, go buy one. If you don't, like myself, then don't buy one. I'm not going to say that I will never own one, but I would never purchase a first year model with this many changes. I'm in the car biz, and I've seen this too many times. New designs typically hit the showroom way before they have been tested and proven. So you waterglide lovers enjoy your new job as harleys t and e engineers. I'll be waiting and watching....
My thoughts on it.. Everyone is entitled to an THIER opinion. And we all know about opinions. Some are going to bitch just because they can. Some like the changes some don't and thats cool. As for me I was impressed enough even though its long overdue. Apparently they are more popular with people than not because dealerships here in MD can't keep them on the floor long enough for anyone to really make a true assessment on their own.
